a look back into time

as we just finished the 2006 girls retreat...
i found this photo from the last one we had at st. andrew's...

talk about perspective.

it's hard to believe it's been 3 years since this weekend. 3 years since michael g's been at st. andrew's. 3 years since we've had a girls retreat.

elisa, on the left, is now at seattle u, as a freshman in college. the two in the stadium blue "bow down" sweatshirts are now 21. and natalie and erin, both in the butterfly sweats, are seniors in high school (tacoma school of the arts and bellarmine, respectively). they cracked me up with their crazy japanese talk during the night, their insistence to stop for the black cows in the field on the way home, and for this stop, along i-5, at a very memorable sign. all i can tell you is that it's an "access road" of some sort.

i have been blessed by these five in my life. i hope they know that. :)
