This goes back. Back to 2001 - Gearhart, Oregon.

One of the last Breakaways to be held at Breakaway Lodge with the PLU Football Team. I was blessed to be able to serve the football team with the Westering gals. Thankfully, Glenna did the cooking (if it had been me, no one would have survived to play during the season). Frosty asked if I might come take some shots of the weekend - and I was honored to do so. One of my favorites is above - Kyle and Kellen, sitting on the beach together as the boys competed in the Dogpatch Olympics.

This year was amazingly special for me - Mike was one of the co-captains, and he let me into his PLU world in a way I had never experienced. I shot the games from the sidelines, was part of afterglows and flights, helped created books for his senior teammates and a book from them to Frosty, and was so proud to be his big sister.

Thanks, Mike, for everything. I've not forgotten what you said at the Senior Share night, and I want you to know how much I love you.
