Mikey and David Jaspers...on pilgrimage in Sicily. Ironically, they both played football at PLU, and ended up in the seminary together for a short while. We climbed to the top of this part of Taormina for some amazing shots.
Dave is one of my favorites - like a big brother to me. Whenever I need encouragement, an e-mail from him seems to land in my inbox at just the right time.
As a seminarian for the Catholic priesthood, it makes you excited for the future of the church. The University of Oregon's In-flux did a really amazing feature on him.
